I want to tell you that you are really making a difference in my life. I began the boot camp in January hoping to drop some pounds and just get into better shape as I prepare for the next big birthday (6-0!). When I showed up the 1st day and we had the weigh-in and measurement, I just cringed and went with it but then you asked us to log our food on the FitDay website. I have to say I really rolled my eyes at this one! But as things would have it, I decided if I was going to try this thing that I was going to go for it 100%. You told us you just wanted us to get in touch with what we were putting into our bodies. Boy, was I surprised when I got a look at the poor level of nutrition that I have been living on for the past several years (and I thought I was a pretty healthy eater). I have never been a big eater and have never had a serious weight problem but things were beginning to creep up on me. I love being active and knew that I needed to work harder in the years ahead of me. I realized my metabolism had all but shut down on me due to the fact that I would actually forget to eat some days and other days, I would be so hungry that I would just go for anything!
I could go on and on but I just want to say that about a week into the training after taking on the “green shake” in the morning and watching and trying to balance my intake, eating whole and healthy foods at regular intervals, and getting some protein into my system that I began to see results and more importantly, I began to FEEL results! After about 2 weeks, my husband commented that he was really glad I was participating in the “boot camp thing” and that he had noticed a real change in mood swings and just my overall attitude about EVERYTHING! I realize now that this is primarily due to the change in my nutrition. Thank you so much! I was skyping with my daughter the other day and she said “Mom, you look really great—you look so young!”
Lastly, I have tried several personal training packages over the years and have never felt such improvement in such a short time. You work us hard and I am grateful for that. You push us to do things we would never do on our own and this is HUGE! You put up with my grumbling (sorry about that) and always keep pushing. The pounds are coming off very slowly but the difference in my physique is becoming obvious. The very best thing, however, is the WAY I FEEL ON THE INSIDE!!
You are an awesome trainer and I am so thankful to have you in my life. I know I am making permanent lifestyle changes now and this is so KEY to living out the rest of my life in greatest abundance!
